Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Jennifer Holmes began her career with Holmes Maritime in 2004. Her strong interpersonal skills, operational expertise, and problem-solving ability quickly earned the trust of the agency’s longest-standing clients. Known for her integrity, dedication, and commitment to high-quality service, Jennifer has been consistently recognized by both clients and industry peers.
As Vice President, she oversees the company’s operations and special projects divisions, while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Her extensive experience includes agency support for a wide range of project cargo and logistics coordination for the offshore oil and gas sector. Notably, she has managed complex operations such as the loading and unloading of jack-up rigs from semisubmersible transport vessels.
In 2020, Jennifer played a key role in executing and supporting a U.S. offshore wind project utilizing the Woodside Multi-Purpose Marine Facility — the first project of its kind in Nova Scotia. She has since been involved in similar renewable energy initiatives.
Jennifer currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Shipping Federation of Canada and has contributed to several of its committees over the years.
