Kenneth Bavis, or Ken as he likes to go by, is an experienced project and construction manager with more than 30 years of experience in both offshore energy and mining. He is trained both as a pipefitter/plumber and a project manager and is based at Aker Solutions’ office in St. John’s. He has been heading up the hook-up of the Sunrise project HVDC converter station offshore New York, which enables the export of more than 900 MW of renewable power over 160 km of distance.
