Magnus is the Senior Marine Energy Technical Manager at the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, the UK’s leading technology innovation and research centre for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy. He provides technical leadership to a range of R&D projects with industry, academia and government to improve technology reliability and enhance knowledge, directly supporting the cost reduction of offshore renewable energy and enabling greater UK content.
Magnus has an Engineering Doctorate in offshore renewable energy and is a Chartered Engineer. His work has been published in industry reports and peer reviewed journal papers, and he contributes his subject matter expertise to the development of international standards for the marine energy sector.
