As the Transmission & Distribution Director at AECOM, Ramana oversees team across the UK, Ireland and Enterprise Capability Centers in India & Romania driving growth, innovation, and delivery excellence. His leadership has led to significant business expansion, new client acquisition, and the successful execution of complex grid modernization, renewables, and energy storage projects.
A passionate advocate for the energy transition, Ramana has spearheaded initiatives in grid modernization, industrial decarbonization, integrated energy systems, and digital transformation. He has also played a key role in major infrastructure programs such as National Grid’s “Great Grid Upgrade.”
Ramana is an active contributor to the wider industry, representing his organization at leading events including CIGRE Paris, Global Offshore Wind, and the Energy Innovation Summit, while serving as a technical advisor and committee member for IET, CIGRE, and government innovation programs.
