Ashley Noseworthy is the CEO and founder of Edgewise Environmental, a marine environmental consultancy with headquarters in both Newfoundland and Labrador and the UK. She holds an MSc in International Marine Environmental Consulting from Newcastle University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from York University, and a BSc in Biology from Memorial University.
With more than a decade of offshore experience, Ashley has worked on major global energy projects and has also served as a consultant for the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra).
She is the recipient of the 2025 Industry Champion Award from econext, the 2025 Fuel Her Fire Trailblazer Award, and was named among the Top 100 Inspirational Female Founders of Ocean and Energy by The Ocean Opportunity Lab in 2023.
Ashley contributes to industry development and governance as a Director of OceansAdvance, a member of the IMarEST Marine Mammal Special Interest Group, and an advisor to the Destination Canada Sustainability Task Force.
A strong advocate for women in STEM, Ashley is committed to capacity building, and advancing inclusive leadership in marine and energy industries.
