Dmitriy Minenko is the founder and CEO of Tidewind Inc., a renewable power generation technology company with a mission to create new, cost-effective ways to harvest energy from renewable sources like marine tidal streams and wind that are affordable for many people and safe for the environment around the world. As a citizen of planet Earth concerned about global warming and environmental protection, he invented an innovative Unidirectional Rotation Rotor (patent pending) that can be used as a main rotating part of cost-effective and reliable power-generating systems, which are simple to manufacture, maintain, and recycle at the end of service life. Without any harmful emissions and low noise generation, Tidewind power systems are safe for the environment and for any form of wildlife and marine life.
Originally from Ukraine, where he graduated from Kyiv State University with B.Sc. Degree in Physics, Dmitriy moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1996 and, after continuing education at the University of British Columbia, started working in Web Development, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing at the same time when Google, Facebook, and Twitter were launched. During his successful 25+ years’ career in Digital Marketing, he managed complex SEO, SEM, social media marketing campaigns, and teams for government organizations, large e-commerce, travel, and education companies like Tourism BC, Alibaba Group, Aliexpress, Lazada, Booking.com, Agoda, Campus Support, to name a few.
