Dr. King is Lead Principal Geoscientist at NGI with over 30 years of experience in project management, strategic planning and technical roles that span the range of geologic settings and operational environments. Recent work has included the integrated interpretation of geoscience and geotechnical data to generate ground models in the Americas and Europe, and development of a machine learning based algorithm to estimate mineral content of sediment samples. Prior to NGI he worked for Vår Energi, Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil on offshore projects across the globe, living in Canada, UK, Norway, Nigeria and USA. He is a technical expert in seismic interpretation, data analysis and integration, site characterization, and geographical information systems.
