The MRC 2026 Conference App will include a one-on-one meeting scheduler, giving attendees full control over their B2B meetings and networking opportunities. This feature makes it easier than ever to connect with industry leaders, explore potential collaborations, and build meaningful business relationships – all on your own schedule.
In 2025, attendees scheduled 228 B2B meetings through the app, demonstrating just how valuable this tool is for making connections and advancing new opportunities. Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of it!

Other industry EVENTS
Alongside the MRC2026 Conference & Exhibition, a number of partner and industry events will be taking place in Ottawa throughout the week.
While these events are not hosted by Marine Renewables Canada, they provide additional opportunities to connect with colleagues, industry partners, and others from across the marine renewable energy sector while you’re in town for the conference.
Events:
1st International Geo-Symposium on Canadian Offshore Wind
Hosted by the University of Western Ontario (UWO) and the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI), the symposium is a one-day event focused on the geo-disciplines supporting the development of offshore wind in Canada. It will bring together professionals from industry and academia, including developers, marine contractors, designers, regulators, and researchers. While centered on Canada’s emerging offshore wind market in Nova Scotia, the symposium will feature speakers from Canada and abroad, combining local expertise with perspectives from established offshore wind regions. The event will provide a forum for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and strengthening connections across the offshore wind community.

UK-Canada Marine Renewables Forum 2026
Hosted by the British High Commission in Ottawa, this forum brings together leaders from industry, government, academia, and the investment community. The Forum will explore where the sector is heading, what each country can learn from the other, and where there is potential to work together.
Discussions will include:
- Offshore wind development in Canada and lessons from the UK’s experience.
- Tidal and marine renewable energy innovation
- Supply chain, infrastructure, and investment opportunities
- Workforce development and skills
- Indigenous and community engagement
- Research partnerships and technology development
- The role of emerging ocean technologies in the blue economy
