Jonathan Dogterom is Co-founder and Director of Aks Wind, a Canadian company working to advance floating offshore wind development in British Columbia. Aks Wind is developing a proposed project in Barkley Sound that combines floating wind technology, energy storage and Indigenous partnership, with the longer-term goal of supporting clean energy development and a Canadian Pacific offshore wind industry.
Jonathan has more than 25 years of experience developing and commercializing clean technologies. He is Managing Partner of Windward Labs and previously held senior leadership roles at MaRS, where he led cleantech initiatives and helped launch the MaRS Advanced Energy Centre. His experience spans renewable energy, hydrogen, energy storage, carbon capture and utility innovation. Throughout his career, Jonathan has worked with technology companies, investors, governments, utilities and Indigenous partners to move emerging energy solutions toward commercial deployment.
