The Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE), in collaboration with the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), are hosting a workshop for international open-water test centres in advance of the Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) 2024 Conference.
Delegates will have the opportunity to visit FORCE’s test site in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia (NS), home to the highest tides in the world, on November 18th, 2024. Travel to/from Halifax, a detailed tour, networking opportunities and lunch will be provided. An invite only workshop focusing on consenting and regulations will take place the following day on November 19th, 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The workshop will provide an immersive experience - offering a balance of informative sessions, hands-on learning, and networking opportunities. Our aim is to bring the network together to discuss challenges, gaps, and opportunities in this critical area.
