Visa and Invitation Letters
Please note that Marine Renewables Canada does not issue invitation letters for visa purposes. Attendees are responsible for making their own visa arrangements, if required.

Be aware of fraudulent emails circulating that claim to be from Marine Renewables Canada (MRC) or companies affiliated with us, offering access to conference registration lists or hotel bookings.
Please note:
- These emails are not legitimate and are not affiliated with MRC or our conference in any way.
- MRC does not share personal contact information.
- The official attendee list will be available exclusively through the conference app.
- We are only working with The Westin Ottawa for conference room blocks. Any other offers or solicitations for accommodation are scams.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing will be accepted up to and including five business days prior to the event date. A refund will be issued minus a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than five business days prior to the event will not be accepted however, substitutions are welcome.
