Aline Kaji is a Senior Coastal Scientist and Oceanographer at DHI, with over 12 years of experience in metocean studies, data analysis, and numerical modeling of coastal and ocean dynamics. She has led and contributed to a wide range of projects across North America and internationally, focusing on metocean characterization, extreme value analysis, and climate adaptation. Aline’s work includes developing metocean criteria for offshore wind energy projects and conducting extreme wave and surge assessments in hurricane-prone regions. Her expertise spans advanced meteo-oceanographic data analysis, technical programming, operational forecasting systems, and the determination of metocean design conditions.
