Jacob is Ramboll’s Metocean Expert, he has a degree in Oceanography and Physics and has over 20 years’ experience providing meteorology and oceanography advice to regulators, device developers, and utilities with interests on the coast and continental shelf. This includes the last 15 years’ experience providing metocean advice to offshore wind developers around the world.
Jacob has managed metocean projects and collated metocean input to design studies for offshore wind farms around the world. Jacob has worked across the pipeline of engineering, construction and operation of wind arms. Jacob has supported power companies, OEMs and governments prospect sites in Europe, North America and Asia.
Jacob’s speciality is distilling the complex sciences of oceanography and meteorology and communicating these more palatable facts, figures and statements that matter to project stakeholders.
