Martin Rovers is the Senior Director, Commercial at Nova Scotia Power. Martin is responsible for developing new clean energy projects to support Nova Scotia’s transition off coal. Projects include transmission, renewable energy, energy storage, and grid modernization. Martin also leads new customer growth and partnerships.
Martin brings 25 years of experience in project development and operations at leading companies in energy, start-ups and management consulting. Martin has served on various Boards and government and industry working groups developing regional programs and energy transition plans. Martin earned his M.Sc. in Physics at McMaster University and his MBA at the University of Toronto.
