Peter Ogban is a Senior Energy Systems Engineer and Technical Team Lead at Angler Solutions Inc. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with 15 years of experience specializing in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), energy systems modeling and optimization, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, decarbonization initiatives, and project management.
Peter holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Systems from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has contributed to several research and development projects focused on renewable energy generation, storage, and transmission and distribution, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed journal publications.
Throughout his career, Peter has made significant contributions to the energy industry. He played a key role in developing a viable clean energy management product and has applied techno-economic modeling to support the integration of wind energy and energy storage systems.
Peter has also implemented decarbonization strategies that enabled the quantification and capture of carbon emissions. His involvement in transmission and distribution network assessments has enhanced grid connection processes. In addition, his CFD simulations have informed product design and manufacturing, supporting innovation in clean energy technologies.
Peter is currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL).
