Phaedra Taiarol is an electrical engineer who has over 25 years of experience as a consulting engineer in the high voltage power transmission industry. She has been involved with and led teams on projects that include high voltage direct current (HVDC) systems, high voltage power cables, transmission planning and power system studies, and substation grounding studies and design. She has been involved in the planning, development, and implementation of many HVDC systems throughout her career, including HVDC projects in India, Chile, North America, and Europe.
