Sam has spent over 3yrs working towards his EngD at Edinburgh University sponsored by Partrac. He has a 1st Class (Honors) Mechanical Engineering degree with Swansea University and has a passion for engineering design and marine energy solutions. His research is focused on Floating Lidar and motion corrected Turbulence Intensity and has lead the development of new innovative tools as part of his work. He has received awards from IMechE and the Institute of Physics for ‘Best Presentation ‘ and was proud to be invited as a speaker at this years Wind Europe Conference in Madrid.
