Sven leads Net Zero Atlantic’s offshore wind, electricity, and energy system modelling portfolios, providing strategic leadership on research and collaboration initiatives that support the energy transition in Atlantic Canada. He works with governments, utilities, industry, Indigenous organizations, researchers, and community partners to advance evidence-based decision-making and energy system planning. With more than 18 years of experience across the wind, geothermal, and hydrocarbon sectors, Sven has worked in Germany, Iceland, the United States, and Canada. He holds degrees in international management and sustainable energy science and is a frequent speaker on offshore wind development, electricity system transformation, and energy system planning.
