With 20 years of consulting experience, Tricia Pellerin has been involved in the planning and permitting of many small and large-scale environmental impact statements and acoustic assessments. Tricia Pellerin is Tetra Tech’s Acoustics and Air Quality Discipline Lead and is an expert in underwater acoustics, specializing in assessing and mitigating the impact of anthropogenic noise on marine species. She has extensive experience with advanced acoustic modeling to predict potential injury to aquatic life from construction and operational sound sources. Her skills include designing and conducting passive and real-time underwater acoustic monitoring programs, analyzing field data to ensure regulatory compliance, and preparing comprehensive reports for environmental permitting with agencies such as NOAA and BOEM. Tricia’s expertise covers a wide range of underwater noise sources, including but not limited to pile driving, dredging, and wind turbine operations, and she has contributed to agency consultations and the preparation of impact assessment applications.
